All types of LED bulbs are now available to fit standard household fixtures, including screw and bayonet. LED bulbs last 25 times longer than incandescent (filament) bulbs and five times longer than compact fluorescent (CFL) bulbs. E27 (Edison Screw)<\/b><\/h3>\n

E27 bulbs are the most popular around. Also known as \u201cEdison Screw\u201d bulbs. Or simply “ES”. They are widely used throughout the United Kingdom and also over the Atlantic Ocean in the United States. They measure 27mm, the same as a halogen or incandescent E27, so you can simply insert an E27 LED bulb into an existing E27 fitting – it’s completely hassle-free.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

E14 (Small Edison Screw)<\/b><\/h3>\n

The screw in an E14 bulb is identical to an E27 but for one reason: it is smaller, measuring only 14mm in diameter, which is why it is often used in small fixtures for decorative or purely practical purposes \u2013 such as chandeliers and appliances.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
