  • A Cable Gland is, in simple terms, a device designed to attach and secure a coil of cable to a piece of equipment or an enclosure.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • They provide strain relief and may include a provision to make a connection to the shield, braid, lead or aluminum sheath of the cable. <\/span><\/span>
    \nFor unarmored and braided cables, this strain relief is provided by sealing only.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • For armored cables, the shield and clamps can also provide pull resistance.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
