But first we must know what a contactor is and what it is used in general ?<\/h2>\n

It is the heart of the electrical control circuits, so you cannot design an electrical control circuit without the presence of the contactor<\/p>\n

The contactor works mainly on the magnetic effect of the electric current, so that it uses a coil through which an electric current passes, and it generates a magnetic field that works to attract an iron core, which is connected to the ends of the power circuit. Air conditioning, lighting and heating circuits, etc<\/p>\n

The contactor is one of the most important elements of automatic control, and it is very important. It is a box containing contacts, i.e. switches. Those contactors are used in the power circuit to connect a high current, and some are intended for communication with the control circuit through which a small current passes.<\/p>\n

The contactor consists of two pieces of iron, one fixed and the other movable, and a coil is wound around the fixed piece. Separating the current from the coil, the contactor returns to its original position by means of a \u201cspring\u201d or what is known as a \u201cyay\u201d or a \u201cbobbin\u201d that pushes the moving piece up again.<\/p>\n
