Contactor control
Controlling the contactor using Bosch Butten. In this article, we will learn about the simplest circuit for controlling the connection and disconnection of current from the contactor coil using Bosch Butten, or what are called momentary on and off compressors.
The purpose of the control circuit
The circuit aims to control the operation of any electrical load by simply connecting or disconnecting the current passing through the contactor coil using the on and off compressors (Bosch Button), and based on the commands of the control circuit, its main contact points feeding the electrical load are connected or disconnected, and the main supply is called the power circuit.
Power and control circuit components
1 phase electrical breaker.
3 phase electrical circuit breaker.
Electrical contactor: Its task in the circuit is to connect and disconnect the current from the load based on the built control circuit.
Overload: Its mission is to disconnect the control and power circuits in the event that the current exceeds the permissible limit.
Help points including:
- Open auxiliary points: They are normally open and are abbreviated with the letters NO. They are used as a self-maintenance point, a relay point, or to turn on a lamp to indicate that electricity has reached the load.
- Closed auxiliary points: They are normally closed and are abbreviated with the letters NC, and are usually used as a protection point or to turn on a lamp to indicate that the load has stopped.
Bush-Putin compressors, including:
- Operating compressors: They are an open point and are connected once pressed. They are usually marked in green or black, and operating compressors are connected to each other in parallel.
- Stop compressors: It is a closed point and is disconnected once pressed. It is red in color, and the stop compressors are connected to each other in series.
Signal lamps: (green for operation – red for shutdown – yellow for malfunction).

Explaining contactor control by Bush Putin
When the running compressor is pressed, the current reaches the contactor coil, closing the open points and disconnecting the closed points. The circuit continues to operate through the self-sustaining point connected in parallel with the running compressor until the current is disconnected by pressing the stop compressor.
As soon as we press the power button, a green signal lights up. When you press the stop button, the red lamp will light up simultaneously with the green lamp turning off, and finally the yellow lamp will light up when a malfunction or malfunction occurs.
