Electricity is made by many different sources, the majority of power generators that make electricity for the large power plants use coal and petroleum as a source to fuel them. Popularity is growing among the clean and renewable sources like solar and wind powered electricity. These are great alternatives to our conventional sources. Customer’s needs are different and there are other energy sources that accommodate each of their needs. Energy sources are very unique and have its pros and cons. This could determine how feasible it is in any application and also how available it is.

In fact, communities should be powered by more wind turbines that will meet their basic electricity needs. This is according to the majority of environmentalists and they fully support this idea. Islands located on the main land can be powered with wind generators. At the same time, the Submarine cables are not practice and are very dangerous so the island can still have electricity. But it needs to use the wind generator. Archipelagoes will benefit from this kind of electric power generation.

Wind energy offers many Advantages. It solves both problems that we face. It will decrease sources of fossil fuels and the satisfy need for a clean energy sources. For many years, wind energy remained a minority in providing electric power to cities, but as technology and the demand for clean, renewable energy sources increase, we will find it used more and more.
