Socket body: low copper content aluminum alloy, complete with wall fixing lugs and threaded socket closing cap attached to body with safety chain Cover: screw fastened, aluminum alloy with low copper content. Used to access the socket and make electrical connection Components: low copper content aluminum alloy, complete with color coded plastic locking rings to identify the mains power supply voltage Pins : nickel-plated brass Gaskets: acid, hydrocarbon and high temperature resistant silicone positioned between the body and cover Certificate label: Adhesive affixed to the outer surface of the screws: stainless steel ground screw: M 5 external and internal coating: polyester RAL 7035 (light gray) Threaded entry points: one upper and one lower Ø 1″ or 3/4″ : The standard aluminum alloy used by Cortem has passed the tests required by standards EN60068-2-30 (hot and wet cycles) and EN60068-2-11 (salt mist test) SAFETY SYSTEM: The sockets have a disconnect switch that is interlocked with a plug. The rotary motion along with the closing/opening processes that take place inside a special explosion-proof chamber ensures that the explosion is contained in the presence of gas. The electrical circuit is only connected after the spy chain plug has been properly inserted into its seat, and it is guaranteed that it can only be removed once the electrical circuit has been disconnected.
